GERGONNE INDUSTRIE INVESTS IN A NEW INCINERATOR FOR THE TREATMENT OF ITS SOLVENTS
Gergonne Industrie currently has three coating lines, and a fourth machine will be installed by the end of 2017.
In a context of strong growth, we have decided to upgrade our solvent waste treatment system in order to further reduce our VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions and save energy.
We have therefore invested in a new regenerative thermal oxidiser, which has been in operation since early October 2016. It is the largest incinerator of this type installed in France.
We are aiming for performance levels of around 0.25 mg/Nm3, which is half the emission limit imposed by the European Directive. This new investment enables us to guarantee our customers the sustainability of our products and production for at least the next 15 years.
